JOIA, a standout restaurant in London, is the brainchild of the two Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa. Set against the backdrop of Battersea Power Station and the city, JOIA celebrates Pessoa's Portuguese culinary roots, providing diners both exquisite meals and unparalleled views.
From its conception, Double Up Social played a critical role in shaping JOIA’s identity. The agency expertly crafted a brand strategy aligned with Pessoa’s Iberian culinary inspiration, giving JOIA a distinctive voice in London's competitive food landscape.
The collaboration also saw the creation of engaging content. Double Up Social conducted extensive photography sessions, capturing the essence of JOIA's dining experience through HQ photography, and through the creation of reels. The narrative went beyond visuals; it delved into the inspirations and history behind JOIA, ensuring that the brand story was as compelling as its menu.

Managing JOIA’s social media channels, Double Up Social ensured active engagement. The platforms buzz with updates on special events, private bookings, and notable visits from high-profile celebrities in London. A key highlight was the promotion of their summer rooftop bar in June, which was fully booked within 2 hours of its social announcements. Since management began in February 2023, Double Up Social has grown JOIA’s social media following to near 40,000, with monthly impressions exceeding 450,000. This strong digital presence correlated with a surge in restaurant reservations, marking most nights as fully booked.
